GREENWICH, CT — Police have issued a scam call alert after receiving reports of someone falsely claiming to be an officer contacting Greenwich residents. In a Facebook post Saturday, police said the scam caller has claimed to be "Sgt. William Larkin," "Sgt. Thomas Kelly" or "Mike Brown" of the Greenwich Police Department. The caller has also told residents there is an arrest warrant filed for the resident and they need to respond to the police department to have it served.
