7pm – 7am shift, Tuesday and Thursday off at this time. The schedule rotates days off for this shift monthly. Maintenance Tech Full Time, Non-Exempt Maintenance Department Summary: This position assists aluminum extrusion operations with maintenance needs. Safety is the first priority, followed by quality and efficient operations to meet or exceed production standards and needs. Qualifications and Responsibilities: High School Diploma preferred and/or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience Follows all safety rules and expectations Basic computer skills required Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to effectively use basic hand tools Understanding electrical systems and how to use testing equipment Demonstrated Maintenance work experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, PLCs, and other applicable equipment/machinery processes Strong communication and organizational skills to meet position requirements Self-starter, motivated to take on challenges with minimal direction Works well with others in a team environment focus Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including but not limited to: lifting up to 75 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, and in extreme temperatures. Environmental hazards require wearing appropriate PPE. Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment. Ability to problem solve and make decisions
