People needed for underground and overhead telecom construction and installation in Seguin, Texas and surrounding areas. We are looking for people to help with the construction and installation of fiber optic cable. We are installing overhead and underground fiber optic cables in neighborhoods and rural areas using bucket trucks, trenchers, backhoes, directional boring rigs and vibratory plows. We are also installing fiber optic drops from the utility pole to the customer's home. This will require aerial and underground work. Manual labor is required using hand tools, extension ladders, bucket trucks, trenchers and plows and any other equipment necessary. We are looking for people to assist with all aspects of this work. This job will require the ability to work outside in all weather conditions and lift at least 80lbs. This job will require working on ladders. Must not be afraid of heights. This job will require the operation of company motor vehicles. Current driver's license is required. Personal transportation to and from work each day is required. Experience pulling a trailer is necessary. Experience managing people is a plus but not necessary. Opportunities for advancement within the company are available. Medical benefits offered. Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday but employees must be able to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
