Registration is Now Open for our Farm & Agriculture 3-Day Workshop - Ages 8 to 12. Spring GardeningOur 3-Day Workshops introduce the concept of social responsibility to Arizona foster kids, inspiring them to look deeper at problems they wish to solve. What do they need to learn to make it possible and what careers align to further their causes? Here, experiential l earning provides hands-on discovery that gives participants a chance to try out new and creative problem-solving opportunities. Our Farm & Agriculture Project explores a blending of health, science and nature recognizing the importance of the interconnections between them. The food we consume, how we produce that food and the natural world at large, all part of the cycle of providing food for the world to consume. These hands-on experiences bring young people together with farmers and ranchers as well as related industry leaders to explore how the world's health and our destiny as a species are inextricably intertwined with the natural world. Our teens experience growing organic food, composting and farming.
