Any dedicated intermediate players out there?

OK, I know that "intermediate musicianship" isn't really a thing, but for the purpose of this post (and the potential future project), I have in mind musicians who competent at their instrument but understand they're a long ways away from being legit pros. Musicians of about my skill level, basically. Once Mr Corona has chilled out a bit more, I'm looking to start a project. At this point, I have very few specifics in mind, except that, since we'd all be dedicated intermediate players, the project would partly be a vehicle for our improvement as musicians, individually and collectively. Like everyone else, I have favorite artists, stylistic preferences, and so on. However, the bands I've played have all been rock bands of one form or another. I'm definitely looking to branch out, although I do love rock and pop. If any of this strikes a chord with you, drop me a line and tell me a bit about yourself and your playing. For what it's worth, I play the drum kit, although I'm more than willing to work with other drum kit players. Hope to hear from you!
