ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. ARRESTS DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE Jason M. Tesch, 19, of the 700 block of N Petitte Road, Round Lake, is accused of driving under the influence of drugs, and was arrested at 4:58 p.m. Jan. 30 in the 4200 block of N Bloomington Avenue. He was released on bond and was assigned a court date of March 16. Kyle R. Leighty, 28, of the 100 block of Hillcrest Lane, Bartlett, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of drugs, and was arrested at 1:16 a.m. Jan. 30 in the 100 block of W Wing Street. He was released on bond and assigned a court date of March 16. Doris Zavala, 39, of the 600 block of E Appletree Lane, Arlington Heights, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, and was arrested at 10:43 Jan. 31 in the 1800 block of N Arlington Heights Road. She was released on bond and assigned a court date of March 16. Jacquelin K. Abernathy, 23, of the 4500 block of N Kimball Avenue, Chicago, is accused of aggravated driving under the influence, driving on a suspended/revoked license, and was arrested at 3:05 a.m. Feb. 3 in the 1500 block of Rand Road. She was taken to court and assigned a court date of March 2. DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED/REVOKED LICENSE Kenneth B. Perry, 52, of the 200 block of Briar Cliff, Poplar Grove, is accused of two counts of driving on a suspended/revoked license, and was arrested at 8:41 p.m. Feb. 3 in the 1900 block of S Arlington Heights Road. He was taken to court and assigned a court date of Feb. 17. CONDITION OF DISCHARGE VIOLATION Shane L. Wigget, 50, of the 1100 block of N Main, Rockford, is accused of condition of discharge violation, and was arrested at 9:05 p.m. Feb. 3 in the 1900 block of S Arlington Heights Road.
