Description
The San Diego Community College District is offering an Online TOEFL Preparation Class. The course is part of the Community Education Program through San Diego Continuing Education. The TOEFL Preparation Class will help non-native speakers of English who need to take the TOEFL Test for university admission requirements or for professional certification and licensing. This course can assist students in significantly improving their English language and test-taking skills in order to score well on the exam. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the TOEFL Test is now being given online.
Instruction will focus on speaking and listening skills, including pronunciation and intonation, vocabulary development, reading skills, advanced grammar, and writing skills specific to the TOEFL Exam. In addition, the class will help students with general test-taking strategies and overall academic English language abilities. This course can also assist students in preparing for the language, reasoning, and writing sections of other exams like the IELTS, MCAT, and GMAT.
There will be a 7-week session beginning on Saturday, February 20th, 2021. The class will meet online with live, interactive meetings on Zoom twice a week for two hours each time. The fee is $320 per session.
