We are currently seeking a qualified individual to manage the day to day operations in our irrigation division. This is a year-round, full time position that transitions to snow and ice management responsibilities during the winter season. Responsibilities: ● Work safely and set an example as a leader within the GPI Safety Culture ● Exemplify our core values daily ● Lead, manage and personally develop your direct reports ● Work closely with the irrigation team to carry out daily activities and schedules ● Manage irrigation technician work orders and monitor accuracy of all repairs ● Perform hands-on field work as necessary ● Own labor and material budgeting ● Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction (Create Raving Fans) ● Perform additional duties as required Benefit’s: ● Affiliation with a well-respected industry leader ● Retirement Plan (IRA, Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance) (based on election and date of eligibility) ● Paid time off ● Abbreviated winter-month work weeks ● Operational performance and snow management incentive opportunities ● Career and personal development training ● Educational reimbursement ● Company issued tablet & cell phone ● Great pay and opportunities for growth Requirements: ● Five (5) plus years of irrigation industry experience with the ability to troubleshoot,adjust,repair and maintain irrigation systems ● Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all customers, co-workers, and those from external organizations ● Supervisory experience with a track record as an effective team leader ● Valid driver's license with clean MVR report ● Ability to lift 50lbs or greater ● Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
