Description
We are a property management company looking for someone to help us maintain the appliances on our 15 properties in the DC area. We are seeking a technician to help us with installing, adjusting and repairing home appliances that our tenants use regularly.
You will be responsible for managing maintenance tasks that pop-up from diagnosing issues to ordering and installing parts. We are looking for someone who is organized, driven, reliable and trustworthy with a well-rounded knowledge of in-home appliances. We had about 15-20 appliance-related issues that needed the attention of a service member in the past year so we are looking for someone who is seeking consistent work.
Requirements:
-Responsible, accountable, and shows up on time
-Knowledge of most in-home appliances
-Variety of tools on-hand to complete regular in-home appliance repairs
-Ability to communicate via email, phone, text message and online maintenance portal
-Must have a vehicle and be able to work independently
-Ability to respond quickly to maintenance requests
-Can diagnose appliance issues and clearly communicate details of the repair
-Reasonably priced, able to communicate hourly rates for first hour (service call) and second hour (longer projects)
-Licensed and insured preferred
