Job Description The Maintenance Supervisor will serve as the leader of a multi-family community within the company portfolio. The successful candidate will play an integral role to a team of professionals who maintain and increase occupancy, increase revenue, and decrease operational expenses through the superior delivery of facility maintenance, risk management, and landscaping and grounds services. Qualifications and Required Experience: Minimum of three to five years of experience in multi-family Facility Maintenance Management. Experience leading and managing 3-5+ team members in the multi-family property management field. The position requires basic skills reflecting knowledge of several technical fields where the work consists of the application of specific techniques and principles. Specific maintenance technical fields include: Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, Mechanical, HVAC, and Municipal Facility Code Requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be required in order to communicate with vendors, residents, management, co-workers, and all other persons associated directly or indirectly. Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with Leadership and Operations to implement and maintain a brand standard. Adhere to standards of performance and quality expectations with a clear focus on resident experience and retention. Lead and develop team of Maintenance staff to adhere to and perfect policy, and be ready for growth within the organization. Collaborate with the Property Manager and the Regional Manager in the planning and implementation of major capital improvement projects. Organize, direct, and control the daily operations of facility maintenance activities and projects. Ensure that employees work in a safe and efficient manner, and routinely provide advice and assistance in completing the most difficult assignments. Coordinate with the Property Manager and the Regional Manager for the engagement of external vendors and contractors establishing expectations of proper workmanship and ensuring adherence to contracts. Lead Maintenance team, and act as key member of Operations Leadership team, in Disaster Prevention and Recovery, Resident Safety, and Municipal Regulatory Compliance.
