Cold freshwater green sunfish. Unsexed so unsure yet of its gender. American Green sunfish are a carnivorous COLD freshwater fish native to many areas in the U.S. They are best in tanks no less then 40 alone of no less then 75 with old large cold water fish. It eats small fish, earth worms, large cichlid pellets, crickets, meals worms and beef heart. Honestly it isn’t picky but LOVES to eat. Would not be suitable with small fish or tropical tanks. This fish has stunning green iridescent blue and red colorations. If your looking for something easy to care for that doesn’t require heated tank Eco would make a great center piece fish tank. Loves attention and is always looking for it’s next meal. I’d love to keep him but do not have the room to upgrade to a larger tank atm. Feel free to email for pictures and more information.
