Hey, I need this healing technique performed on me that I learned in Taiji class (tai chi) but I would like to make 2 things clear 1) This is not code for gay shit 2) You have to be around 6 feet tall. I'll first give you the technique and then a little background as to how it actually works. The technique is quite simple - you simply place your hands above the subject's head, in this case, me, and hold your hands over the other person's head (with a specific configuration which I'll explain later) for about 30 seconds. After that, you trace your hands, without touching, behind the head, down the chest, and to 3 inches below the navel. Here's the science and philosophy behind this, I'll give you the Western version because that'll sound saner. Everything that produces electricity, including the human body, generates an electromagnetic field. The very top of the head (GV 20 in acupuncture) is the negative end and between your hey now* and beeswax* is the positive end (or CV 1) All of matter and energy are interchangeable and the spectrum is "Bio-chemical-electrical-magnetic" and when you affect the one you affect the rest. What this technique does, is straighten out the electrical-magnetic end and, eventually, after many repetitions, it will straighten out the Bio-chemical end. The ground holds a negative electric charge (which is why you can't leave a car battery on the ground because it'll drain it) so, by holding your hands atop someone's head (in a certain manner) it literally draws a negative electric charge from the ground, along the spine, into the top of the head. This is palpable when you do this meaning, you'll feel your hands vibrate, and just feel strange overall. Now, when you trace over these certain lines what it's doing is bringing that now built-up static-electric charge up the spine and then pulling it through certain meridians which, in a sense, "washes" out the meridians which, simultaneously pulls out any knots and chronic inflammation. The Eastern or TCM version would say you're pulling "qi" (or chi) from the ground, up the "du mai or gv vessel into bai hui/GV 20, and then pulling it through the belt meridians back down to lower dantien or CV 3. Ultimately, it's like filling a jar with black and white marbles and shaking it - meaning the more you shake it the more they'll reach perfect equilibrium. PS. I've tried doing this several times for myself, it just doesn't work. Also note, not everyone can do this technique because it does require A, height, and B, somewhat decent coordination.
