2101 Cooperative, Inc., is a 299 unit high-rise apartment building that is currently looking to fill a full-time Housekeeping Position. HOUSEKEEPER The open position's hours for employment are: Monday - Thursday (10:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.) and Friday (8:00 - 4:30 p.m.) The general scope and purpose of the Housekeeping Worker is to be responsible, under the direction of the General Manager and Assistant Manager, for the overall cleaning of the building’s common areas and grounds. Duties and Responsibilities • Perform the scheduled cleaning in all hallways, elevators, offices and common areas of the building. • Participate in the preparation of apartments for occupancy by a new shareholder. • Examine hallways and common areas of the building and make repair recommendation to the management. • Monitor the loading dock and service elevator area when a scheduled move-in or move-out occurs. • Empty all of the building’s trash containers daily and when required by management. • Deliver and remove packages and supplies when required. • Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffing machines, snow blowers, shampooing machines, etc., when necessary to perform cleaning duties. • Maintain a sufficient amount of cleaning supplies and materials at all times and notify management when supplies are needed. Qualifications • High school education or equivalent • Housekeeping experience • Ability to operate various types of cleaning machinery • Ability to follow instruction and a desire to do a good job • Personable and trustworthy • Must pass a criminal background check If you do not have any housekeeping experience, please do not contact us.
