Reports To: On-Site Foreman Hours: M-F | 10-12 hours daily depending on weather delays Pay: $20.00 $25.00 hourly | OT x1.5 40+ | Summary: Drive a Articulating Off-Road Haul Truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, and crushed rock materials. Opportunity for pay raises quarterly based on performance, skill, and dependability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: •Must be able to or willing to learn to operate haul truck equipment. •Assist in equipment repairs, clean-up, and re-fueling. •Perform and report pre-shift safety inspection on equipment. •Responsible for good housekeeping of equipment and grounds. •Perform duties with minimum supervision. •Jobs location to the next upon completing the job. This may can range from 2 - 60 weeks, or more. •Job may require out of town and even overnight travel. Minimum Education and Experience: •Prefer previous experience with heavy mobile equipment •Must provide own transportation to and from job-site Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: •Must be able to communicate in English. •Must be able to wear all required MSHA safety equipment (i.e.: work boots, hard hat, etc). •Must be able to read and interpret gauges. •Work in a TEAM environment - Welcomes feedback; Contributes to building a positive team attitude. •Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics. •Must be able to identify materials to ensure correct product is being hauled. •Safety and Security – Observes safety and security procedures; Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. •Adaptability – Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events. •Attendance/Punctuality – Is consistently at work and on time. •Dependability – Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; Commits to long hours of work when necessary to complete the job. Physical Requirements: •Must have good hand/eye coordination and be able to operate hand/foot controls. •Possess good vision to perceive depth at close range and distances up to 150 feet. •Must be able to climb on and off equipment to operate and service multiple times in one shift. •Must be able to bend, stoop, climb and reach around mobile equipment. •Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. •Must be able to sit and operate equipment for long periods up to 10+ hours per day. •Must work outside in all weather conditions consistent with extreme ambient temperatures: heat, cold, wetness, dryness, dust, and noisy conditions. ********Please send resume with contact information for us to call you******** This job starts this week!!!!
