Hiring for a Licensed CDL Truck Driver immediately! Please read all responsibilities and requirements below before applying. Drug test is mandatory for the department of transportation. Paving Company in downtown Raleigh hiring -The work we do includes fine grading, paving, concrete, line striping, seal coating, asphalt work like patches and crack seals. CDL Driver to drive dump truck and pull trailer with equipment for paving crew which includes hauling loads of different materials. **Must be able to pass drug test as a pre-employment for the DOT is required!! Responsibilities : Receive and dispatch all heavy construction equipment. Will require operating of the equipment to loading and unload. Inspect equipment coming and going to and from projects and document condition. Perform diagnostics and repairs of equipment at jobsites and in the yard. Will require hands on mechanical work. Qualifications/Requirements : Class A CDL with Medical card Minimum of 3 Years relevant experience Capabilities to operate a variety of heavy equipment for loading, unloading and mechanical repair purposes to include but not limited to pavers, skid steer, dump trucks, rollers Mechanical Experience – Electrical diagnostics, hydraulic systems, brake systems, engines, transmissions, after treatment systems, etc. Excellent customer service, teamwork and people skills. Self-directed, organized and self-motivated. Ability to execute. Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced challenging environment Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent is preferred. A combination of education and experience is acceptable. Also hiring for paving crew members which entails: General Laborer for Paving - Currently hiring general laborers for an established paving, guardrail & excavating company. This is an outdoor, physical job that routinely requires employees to move/lift 50-75lbs, shovel and rake, flagging traffic, loading/unloading equipment and assisting the Paving Superintendent with any and all duties relating. Long hours during the paving season. Job Requirements: · Valid driver’s license required. · Ability to multitask in a remarkably busy environment. · Willing to travel out-of-town if need be. · Dependable and on time. · Willing to work overtime hours during the paving season. · Positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment. ·Weekly paychecks on the books.
