Description

Hello, this is Apollo! She's a beautiful Sun Conure native to Brazil! Apollo was hatched in early 2009 in the US. She loves pecans, dancing, and telling everyone she's pretty. And she hates vacuums. Apollo forms very strong bonds with her caretaker and is a very sweet bird. But don't be fooled, she can have an attitude! If you're interested in this medium-sized parrot you'll need a couple things first. First, you were intentionally looking to add a bird to your family before finding this listing. Prior bird experience is required, for example, you have experience specifically taking care of multiple parakeets or cockatiels. If you have no prior bird experience, you will not be considered for Apollo's new home. If you have bird experience, you might know that medium parrots require approximately $800/year in food, care, upkeep, and medical visits. You are planning on feeding her fresh fruits and veggies daily, not exclusively store-bought bird food. Birds require a lot of care, but mainly attention. Sun Conures are very intelligent. Apollo will not thrive without 3-5 hours per day of out-of-cage time, and at least 30 minutes of personal 1-on-1 interaction. There will be a rehoming fee to ensure a safe transition, and to cover the costs associated with preparing Apollo for her next home. If this sounds like your type of bird, and you think you have a good case for why you'd be an excellent new home for Apollo, please do complete the security puzzle thingy and tell me all about you, your home, and your family!
