Warehouse Associate: Embroidery & Heat Press Operator- Apparel Company (Part-Time) Responsibilities: Responsible for the expedient and accurate handling of all embroidery & heat press orders. Managing embroidery & heat press production. When heat press & embroidery machines are not in use, assisting with general warehouse labor. Some essential duties include the unloading and stocking of incoming merchandise, loading of outbound trailer, checking, verifying, & auditing of merchandise as received and identifying, separating, labeling of merchandise to enable relocation to appropriate areas within the warehouse. In addition, pull orders accurately in preparation for prompt shipment and verifies and enters receipt of incoming or outgoing shipments. Responsible for counting, storing, replenishing, and rotating stock in the warehouse or stockroom on a daily basis. Job Requirements Include: Heat Press & Embroidery Orders • Manage, maintain & operate heat press & embroidery machines. • Manage production & project management of all embroidery & heat press orders • Quality control all custom orders • Manage artwork & logo digitization • Assist with prototyping & samples • Ensure all projects are completed on-time & accurately • Must know how to operate Brother Entrepreneur PR1055X Embroidery Machine Process Customer Orders • “Daily Pick & Pack” Package finished merchandise for shipping: consists of taping shipping boxes together and securing finished merchandise inside. • Read customer orders, process work orders, shipping orders or requisitions and determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped. Shipping and Receiving • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks or containers, checking in merchandise and placing them in designated areas. • Package product for shipping; consists of packaging products to be loaded onto a truck or to the designated shipping area. • Load merchandise, pallets, or various shipping boxes in vehicles or trucks • Communicate with supervisors regarding damaged materials, inventory in stock • Maintain pallets • Assist in counting of physical inventory Quality Control • Ensure company quality requirements are being met • Inspect merchandise workmanship, cleanliness, and other quality specifications • Inspect and sort through the good and bad • Ensure no damaged product is sent out • Ensure no damaged material is accepted and is properly documented Warehouse Maintenance • Move waste to dumpsters • Clean and maintain work area • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for employees • Sweep, dust, and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times • Clean and maintain warehouse • Project work as needed Other Information: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The associate is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may be required to sometimes sit, climb or balance. The associate must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly.
