Mechanic wanted to work on construction equipment at a rental center. A wide range of skills are needed for this position. Excellent ability to quickly diagnose and repair various types of construction equipment. Must be capable of repairing and maintaining backhoes, skiploaders, skid steer loaders, excavators (full-sized and mini's), wheel loaders, water trucks, dump trucks, rollers, light towers, fork lifts and tow-behind air compressors as well as other types of small equipment such as rammers, cut-off saws, trash pumps and various other attachments. Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical are essential. We work on both gasoline and diesel engines. Welding and fabrication are a plus. Must have: * Strong ability to communicate and work with others. * A professional demeanor * Must be able to interact with all different types and levels of customers and employees * Familiarity with computers helpful but not required. * Willingness to do many different types of things everyday! * Periodic driving of company vehicles, must me insurable. * Ability to lift 50lbs. or more periodically while working on rental equipment.
