Our 2nd People for Plants & Parks event with yoga, a bay cleanup, a plant sale, and the launch of Ecomadic, a sustainable travel platform! Hideout Cafe x Debris Free Oceans' "People for Plants and Parks" are at it again with our 2nd event - this time, in addition to a yummy yoga flow, street cleanup, and plant sale, we'll also be celebrating the launch of ecomadic's Miami region recommendations! ecomadic (@ecomadic) is a platform that connects sustainably-minded travelers with responsible businesses & experiences, featuring recs for sustainable accommodations, socially-responsible eateries and shops, and ethical experiences around the world! Check out what's in store: 10:00-11:30 - We'll be starting the day off right with a street & bayside cleanup in and around Margaret Pace Park! Meet at the Hideout at 9:45 am.11:30-12:15 - Yoga class (all levels) with Rise & Soulshine/the Inspired Life instructor Perla Muller (@perlamuller). Perla is an 200 YTT yogi and an architect - we loved her style and flow at our December event, and we are so grateful to have her back!12:15-12:30 - Peruse a beautiful selection of plants for sale at Hideout Garden. 10% of sales from all plants (today and all days) will support DFO's cleanups in Biscayne National Park & your purchase will put you on our exclusive early mailing list to sign up for future island cleanups before they are open to the general public (an excellent opportunity, as our island cleanups always sell out!)Hang around to enjoy a Hideout Cafe coffee, a Volley seltzer, and a Bola Granola bar ;) as well as a chance to win a free plant - every participant receives a one raffle entry with ticket purchase. Bring your own cup for your free drink!If you are unable to attend in-person, the yoga class will be streamed through Debris Free Oceans' Instagram Live and you can make an optional donation to DFO here!
