Commissioner Victoria Akinseye in Partnership with Ward8Woods Community Clean-up day. We are continuing our work with making our community a cleaner and healthier place to live. The Congress Heights neighborhood is a victim of littering and illegal dumping of trash and bulk items. The community is surrrounded by Sheperd Pkwy which is federally owned in the far southern part of Washington, DC. Unfortunately, lack of sinage, trails, and programs have made the community and park a target for illegal dumping. Please join us on Saturday, February 27, 2021 to help us maintain and keep our community clean.
