MAINTENANCE TECH POSITION AVAILABLE! We are one of the largest property management companies in the valley and we are in need of knowledgeable and qualified technicians to perform various aspects of maintenance on our over 2,000 properties located throughout the Phoenix area. Looking for a technician located in the East Valley. Job Description: Maintenance Technician -Travel to various locations (your schedule is set by our coordinators) to complete pre-generated work orders on single-family homes, town homes, and condos. The ideal candidate for this position will be proficient in the general aspects of maintenance such as residential plumbing, electrical, garbage disposal replacement, toilet replacement and rebuilds, paint touchups, hanging light fixtures and fans, replacing or repairing faucets, replacing hot water heaters, general handyman repairs. Each work order has to be documented with before and after photos and write ups for work completed along with photos are emailed upon completion for each job. Must be organized and able to use iphone. As an applicant, you will need the following: - Good, reliable truck or SUV with insurance and current registration - Most tools necessary to complete any needed repairs - MUST pass a criminal background check prior to hiring - MUST be able to efficiently operate iPhone and be technically competent - VALID driver license - MUST pass a drug test prior to hiring Qualities must include: Great organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, self motivated, reliable, and honest, are key attributes for the successful candidate. Pay range is between $17.00 and $20.00 per hour depending on experience. We provide gas and cell phone. Initially position is a 1099 position, after 90 days eligible to come on payroll as full time employee. Benefits upon employment offered including medical, dental, vision, and simple IRA with 3% match.
