ABOUT Mariano & Mariela: Argentine natives Mariano and Mariela are professional tango instructors, dancers, choreographers, and tango event organizers based here in South Florida. Mariano is also a tango DJ with extensive knowledge of the history of tango orchestras and has been a guest DJ at tango festivals across the United States. He is the organizer of several weekly milongas (social tango dance events) in Miami. Mariela's passion for tango includes experience as director of the Tango Axis Tango School in Miami (2010-2016), creator of "Eras del Tango", "Tango Suites" performer with Forever Tango Company, Artango Company, Tango Lovers, and choreographer/dancer of "Maria de Buenos Aires" with the New Orleans Opera, Atlanta Opera, Nashville Opera, and Florida Grand Opera.
