Responsibilities: - Light landscaping duties consisting of blowing leaves and edging. - Empty out pet waste receptacles. - Empty out regular trash receptacles. - Street sweep to ensure they are free of any trash and or debris. - Light maintenance duties like fixing any broken signs throughout the community. - Ensure sidewalks are free and clear of any trash or debris. - Ensure the communities overall cleanliness and appearance. - Responsible for using equipment safely and returning it at the end of shift to appropriate area. - Maintain clean, safe work environment. - Other duties as assigned. Requirements: - 1+ year of Janitorial / Portering experience. - Demonstrate a good attitude with pride in your work. - Fast worker showing initiative and follow through. - Bilingual English - Spanish, a plus but not required. - Experience using street sweeper a plus. - Must be able to stoop, stand, bend, walk and other movements needed for cleaning up to 8 hours. - Available to work overtime or weekends if needed. - Need to be able to start work immediately. CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE CONSIDERED: - Must have previous janitorial / portering experience - Must have a clean background check - Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable thru our carrier - Must have a keen eye for details - Must be very organized and able to follow a routine that provides regular daily inspection and clean Assigned areas - Must have a friendly personality and willing to accommodate others - Must have reliable transportation
