Off Road Paws, a veterinarian-owned dog fitness and pet sitting business, is looking for an energetic, responsible animal lover to come work with us. Who wouldn't want to spend their days with adorable dogs outside in beautiful Colorado? Our mission is to help owners keep their pets happy and health with a focus on providing dogs of all ages, medical conditions and sizes the individualized exercise and special care they need. We are currently offering many running, hiking and walking services for dogs. Additionally we do daytime dog and cat sitting while owners are out of town. Off Road Paws is a growing business and needs active, reliable animal lovers to join the team. We look forward to hearing from you. Requirements and Responsibilities: Part-time hours: Position would include consistent Tuesday through Thursday hours and at least two weekends a month. Hours will vary per week, but will start 6-10 hours per week and 2-3 hours per weekend. Must be open to hours increasing over time. Possible managment position available in future as experience grows. Services are offered in Louisville, Lafayette and areas of Western Broomfield/South Boulder. Must live in the Louisville, Lafayette area or Western edge of Broomfield. Professional experience working with animals of all sizes and personalities preferable, but not required. Comfortable with medicating dogs and cats. Management experience a plus! Ability to run or hike with dogs multiple times a day for 30 minutes or more at a time throughout the day. Car that can hold at least 2 dogs separately (SUV or hatchback) and is capable of driving safely in all weather conditions. Four-wheel or all wheel drive a must. MUST BE OK WITH DOG HAIR AND DIRT IN CAR! Excellent communication skills with clients and ability to work with dogs and cats of all sizes, ages and personalities.
