SENIOR PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN Growing Property Management Company seeking skilled Maintenance Person to work in the Greater Boston area. Compensation is based on experience. Job Duties and Responsibilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible, under the direction of the Property Manager, for the overall maintenance of the numerous commercial and residential complex and all areas related to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations. Essential duties include but are not limited to: 1) Carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, and random maintenance items. 2) Make ready units for new move‐ins. 3) Responsible to coordinate labor for 24-hour emergency maintenance. 4) Schedule and complete preventative maintenance. 5) Responsible for coordinating or performing landscape and ground work. 6) Coordinate major projects. 7) Coordinate maintenance materials and keep track of inventory. Job Requirements • Person hired for this position must have a strong communication skill to follow verbal and written instructions and to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. • Must have the necessary tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above. • Must be willing to travel to other property twice weekly. • Must be reliable to commute to work every morning. • Must be able to use basic technology. • Must be able to navigate through maintenance software to add, follow up and close work orders. Education/Qualification 5+ years of experience required. Valid Driver’s License required. Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a PLUS. Job Type: Full-time
