****Full Time Trailer Mechanic Wanted**** S&J Transportation Services, a group of family owned companies for over 30 years, continues growing! We are currently seeking a second shift motivated and dependable Experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer 1 week paid vacation after "6 months", comprehensive benefits including Health & Dental Insurance, 401k match (up to 4%), and 5 paid personal days every year. Duties required but not limited to: • Repair trucks and trailers and related equipment in a timely and efficient manner. • Diagnose and repair problems related to hydraulic components, steering systems, engines, transmissions, drive train, and braking systems of equipment. • Weld and/or fabricate necessary parts for repair of equipment. • Evaluate equipment for needed repairs. • Conduct routine maintenance and service on equipment. • Ensures shop areas are kept clean, dry and free from debris. • Perform all duties in accordance with OSHA policies and procedures. Immediately report any incidents or violations. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Must be willing to work overtime if needed. Qualifications: • A valid driver's license is required. • Must have own tools. • Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, hand and power tools) required. • Experience in both Tractor and Trailer PMs and repairs. • NH motor vehicle inspection certification is a plus. • CDL A is a plus.
