Description

MT Contracting, Inc., a local glass and glazing subcontractor specializing in commercial projects currently has an opening for a Shop Assistant. Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in fabrication of various metal door and window frames. Assist in assembly of above items. Assist in preparing assembled products for shipment. Receive Freight including accounting for all freight documentation. Prep and process all requests for materials and tools from field personnel. Operate Razor Gauge Saw (at Direction of Shop Manager) Requirements: • Ability to lift 50 pounds. • Ability to use basic power tools. • Current Drivers License. Clean driving record. • Ability to read a tape measure. After a 6-month probationary period, benefits include: • PTO • Paid Holidays • Health Care Available Job hours are Monday – Friday, 7AM – 4:30PM. Wage $18-$19/hour. DOE.
