Press release from the City of Somerville: February 6, 2021 While current forecasts don't suggest that a snow emergency will be declared on Sunday, February 7, the City would like to remind residents that parking is not allowed within 20 feet of an intersection. This rule applies year round to ensure that emergency vehicles have room to turn. In the winter, plows need this room to safely clear snow from intersections.
