BRAINTREE, MA — Braintree police officers ended 2020 a little scruffier than usual, extending their No Shave November fundraiser through January. Officers were allowed to forgo shaving if they donated to Lucy's Love Bus. Lucy's Love Bus is a nonprofit that helps children with cancer through therapies like acupuncture, Reiki and massage to help balance the effects of traditional cancer treatments. Braintree police ended up raising $1,200 for the organization themselves, but other police departments and even a local band helped raise even more money. Between Devri Boston, the Braintree police, Weymouth and Quincy police department $6675 was raised for Lucy's Love Bus.
