ANDOVER, MA — Andover is expecting to hold its first coronavirus vaccine clinic for residents 75 and older the week of Feb. 15, it said Friday. The town did not announce which day or open up registration; it plans to announce further detail in coming days. Registration will be done both over the phone and online, the town said. The town expects to hold weekly clinics with at most 100 doses each week. Many cities and towns are only receiving 100 per week currently, as the supply remains highly limited. In its announcement, Andover encouraged residents who are able to try to get appointments at the large regional clinics. These can be found at mass.gov/covidvaccinemap. The state also has a call center to help people make appointments. Call 211 to reach a representative. The regularly updates andoverma.gov/coronavirus with the latest coronavirus information. It also has its own coronavirus vaccine hotline, 978-623-8602, with recorded updates.
