SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County Public Schools will host its 13th annual HBCU College Fair this weekend.
The free virtual event provides students in grades 8 through 12 the opportunity to meet representatives from more than 60 HBCUs, otherwise known as Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Representatives will share information about admissions, financial aid, testing, majors, and more.
The college fair, as well as various college preparation workshops, will take place on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On-the-spot admission and scholarship interviews for 12th-grade students begin a day earlier, at 9 a.m.
