PATCHOGUE, NY — Less than six months after a new breakfast hotspot opened in Patchogue, the business announced a temporary closure due to the coronavirus. In an Instagram post on Friday, Rise & Grind, which opened last August on 240 E. Main Street, posted that the restaurant will shut down for a month. While the eatery did not provide specific details on the reason for the closure, the post cited "conditions caused by the pandemic" as the reason for the closure. "It's heartbreaking that we won't see you all in a bit but we will take this time to touch up our magical palace and improve our logistical operations," the post reads. "We love you all and we appreciate your support. You keep us warm in these cold times!" The eatery is expected to open in March.
