Shift It is a facilitated mentoring group for women. This session is all about getting out of your comfort zone so you can take risks. Lots of people dream about taking risks in life but are too afraid to go through with it, perhaps because they don't know where to start, fear the unknowns, or because they may be too uncomfortable moving outside their own comfort zones. Whatever it is that is holding you back from taking a risk, it's time to overcome it! With some simple planning, analysis and support you can decide whether something is really worth the risk. Join us for Shift It! Session 4 with the theme of 'Do it' where we'll discuss risk-taking. Here are some of the things we'll discuss: 1. Why do I want to take this risk? 2. How do I know if it's the right time? 3. What would be the result of NOT taking the risk? 4. Who will support me through it? 5. What things can I do along the way to prepare? Shift It is not your everyday networking group. Rather, it is woman-to-woman facilitated mentoring that has been specifically designed to address some of the top areas that women look for growth. The intent is to bring women together to collaborate, connect, learn and grow. Each session of Shift It is based on 4 themes - See Ir! Balance It! Fit It! and Do It! With each session we take a theme and choose topics that not only fit that theme but are relevant to the participants. Each Shift It session is 'stand-alone.' You do not have to have attended previous sessions to benefit from this one. Additionally, you can join us virtually or in-person where we have plenty of space to social distance. About your facilitators...Leah Braun is an entrepreneur, business woman, accomplished facilitator and National Guard Veteran. And, she is a mom and wife as well. Leah has a gentle method of bringing the best out of people she is around.
