HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Residents are invited to a virtual gathering where they can share stories related to racial equity. Organized by the Howard County Library System, the event is designed to provide community engagement and education that advances equity and connects people to opportunities that can make a difference.
According to the library, participants can share their stories for a new collection focusing on local racial experiences. They also can be shared with the County Council's Racial Equity Task Force that will become official testimony as they recommend legislation to advance equity to the County Council.
Interested participants are encouraged to register for one of two sessions offered Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.or Feb. 20 at 1 p.m.
