Escalon, CA 95320 Job Description: Responsibly for packing finished goods into the correct area and preparing them using various equipment. Cleans and prepares for daily production, monitors control points and critical control points. Primary responsibilities • Pack them following a specific set of instructions. • Clean and prepare for daily packing. • Maintain data of products, following company policy. • Monitor and operate sorting equipment and metal detector/ x-ray • Fill out forms, logs and paperwork to record product count, measurement, weight • Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as cold storage, or warehouse. • Ability to lift 50lb. boxes. • Follow all Forklift safety policies • Seal and label boxes, bags, totes. • Move completed packages to cold storage • Clean production area. • Scrape waste material from machine. • Load and unload processing equipment • Sweep, mop, and remove debris. • Perform general housekeeping. • May operate forklift in loading and unloading supplies and equipment; may operate shrink wrap machine; may assist in routine maintenance of equipment and production area; may lock warehouse. • Follow and instruct Food Safety program, sanitation, good housekeeping methods and company policy. • Report production issues. • Make sure production equipment is operating properly during work hours. • Participate in trainings, seminars and conferences. • policies • Follow all good housekeeping rules. • Wear clean sanitized clothing to work daily. • Follow company Lockout/tag out procedures. Requirements: Forklift experience minimum of 1 year
