Irvington Store Sells $40,000 Mega Millions Lottery Ticket

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A store in Irvington sold a lottery ticket worth $40,000 for the Friday, Feb. 5 drawing of the Mega Millions, officials said. According to the New Jersey Lottery, four tickets matched four of the five white balls and the Gold Mega Ball, winning a $10,000 third-tier prize. Two of those tickets were purchased with the Megaplier option, multiplying the prizes to $40,000. The winning numbers for the Feb. 5 drawing were: 14, 17, 28, 29, and 44. The Gold Mega Ball was 02, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 04.
