Café Tu Tu Tango, a 27-year staple along Orlando’s famous International Drive, is looking for new entertainers! The restaurant boasts an eclectic entertainment lineup which we are expanding to the weekdays. Do you have an act? Do people love it? If so, we want to hear from you! What you need to know: - Acts must be mobile and easy to move throughout the dining & patio area. - Each performance consists of two (2) sets, one at 7:30pm and the other at 9:15pm. You would be on-site for just over two hours. - Each set must last between 7-10 minutes, or the equivalent of 2 to 3 songs. - Types of acts we are looking for (but not limited to!): o Dancers o Circus/acrobatic stunts o Contortionists o Comedians specializing in crowd-work o Drag – crowd-work/performance o Mariachi Band - Acts we are unfortunately NOT looking for: o Live music/singers o Magicians Compensation per night will be negotiable but will be no less than $100 and not to exceed $150. The amount will be per act, not per individual. We will host your act for an “audition” night, then gauge crowd reaction and overall quality of the performance. After this, our art director would either respectfully decline or present an offer for your services. Compensation also includes a stipend of $20/night in Café Tu Tu Tango food and beverage. We load a Tango gift card with $20 for each performance night, which you can use however you desire. We hope to hear from you soon!
