CVS Opens Coronavirus Vaccination Site In Providence

PROVIDENCE, RI — CVS Health has opened a COVID-19 vaccination site in Providence as of Sunday, Feb. 7, according to the company's website. The vaccination site, located at 799 Hope Street, has started administering vaccines to eligible residents age 75 or older in accordance with Phase One of the state's distribution plan. Other CVS Pharmacy vaccination sites in Rhode Island will be located in East Greenwich, Woonsocket, Warren, and Westerly, which will be available for booking starting Tuesday, Feb. 9 and Wednesday, Feb. 1o. A vaccination site at 26 Putnam Pike in Johnston is also available for immediate booking. Individuals who wish to get vaccinated will be required to meet state criteria and must register in advance through the pharmacy.
