The Youth Council Since 1974, The Youth Council (TYC) has been an important resource for the Greater Nashua community. TYC is a non-profit 501(C3) organization specializing in programs centered on providing assessment, guidance, and counseling to youth and families through services focusing on mental health, social-emotional wellness, educational supports, restorative juvenile justice, and substance use disorders. For more information, please visit us at https://tycnh.org/ We are looking for a strong leader with creative energy, familiarity with grant writing, a passion for community work, a love for networking with community partners, the ability to understand and share the work of the agency as well as the ability to provide support and meet the needs of our dedicated staff. The Executive Director acts as the Chief Executive Officer of the TYC and is responsible for the overall management and direction of the organization in accordance with its vision and mission. The Executive Director works under the general oversight of the Board of Directors. This is a permanent, full-time exempt position. Applications for a part-time interim executive director will be considered. Overview The Executive Director provides a supportive environment so that staff are able to carry out the objectives of the TYC via clear organization, positive management, critical understanding of agency values, and motivating leadership. This position also includes Board collaboration, finance management, fundraising and resource development, program management, personnel development, communications, community relationships, and facility management. The Executive Director works with the Board and Board Committees to foster the mission and vision of TYC, implement strategic imperatives, and determine the scope of TYC programs and advocacy priorities.
