Explore STEM, weather science and what its like to be a Girl Scout at this free recruitment event! This event is for girls who are currently not Girl Scouts, but all girls are welcome! Current Girl Scouts are welcome to attend by brining a non-member friend! Tired of being stuck inside? Ready to get out and do something fun and enjoy some much needed social interaction? Well Spring weather is around the corner and Girl Scouts is exploring the science behind it! So come join us and learn about the weather with some hands on activities and learn what it's like to be a Girl Scout! Girls will be given a welcome bag at the beginning of the event. Inside will be all of the materials your girl needs to participate in our activities, some take home crafts, AND her very own commemorative Girl Scout patch to remember the occasion by. We ask that you please register for the event to help prevent over crowding and to be able to conform to ADH guidelines. LOCATION: The Bridge Church at 511 W Tulsa St, Siloam Springs, AR 72761 SAFETY: • All Girl Scout staff and volunteers will be wearing masks for the entire event. • Hand sanitizer and masks will be provided. • Families and girls will be asked to wear masks. • There will be tables spaced 6ft apart for girls and their families to 'station' at during the event. • All families must remain at their designated table. • No restrooms will be available on site. • Any materials, handouts, or giveaways from Girl Scouts will be prepared with COVID-19 sanitation precautions. • Families are asked to attend the event at their designated time slot to ensure safety precautions and congestion is minimized Please read our safety guidelines for in person meetings document to better understand the measures we are taking to ensure your family's safety during this event.
