KANE COUNTY, IL — More than three-quarters of Kane County educators are ready to take the coronavirus vaccine, according to public health officials. The Kane County Health Department said it will start vaccinations Monday for about 11,500 teachers and school employees, with 78 percent of the county's educators opting to take the vaccine. "This is one step in the process of returning to in-person learning," said Patricia Dal Santo, the regional superintendent of schools in Kane County.
