SAN JOSE, CA — A South Bay burglary suspect barricaded themselves in a home early Monday morning leading to a standoff with officers, San Jose police said. Officers responded at around 4:10 a.m. to a report of the incident in the 1500 block of Primm Avenue, police said. Another barricade this morning. 1500 block of Primm Av. The standoff involving a barricaded person is the second such incident reported in this South Bay city Monday morning. A family disturbance reported at around 3:25 a.m. led to a person barricading themselves in a home on the 1500 block of Meridian Avenue. according to police. Meridian Ave is closed in both directions from Alta Glen Dr to Blackford Ln due to an event we are currently working.
