TUSCALOOSA, AL – Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. (MBUSI) last Friday donated three portable freezers to the Alabama Department of Public Health for storage of the coronavirus vaccine. MBUSI also donated 8,000 pairs of gloves to ADPH for health care workers.
MBUSI says the portable, ultra-low temperature freezers will be used to transport vaccines to various sites throughout the state.
President and CEO of MBUSI Michael Goebel underscored the importance of individuals and businesses alike doing their part during the pandemic.
"Our survival and our community's recovery depends on our getting back to some sense of normal as soon as we can," he said.
