Women's Firearms Familiarization (Abilene) For women that want to learn how to shoot. -Buying your first handgun, shotgun, or rifle for self-defense and don't know how/where to start? -Don't have anyone to teach you how to use it? -Don't have anyone to ask questions of? -Want to buy one, but want to learn about them first or need to get comfortable with your first gun? -Don't know what you need and would like some guidance? Grab a friend, or I'll try to schedule you up with a group of one or two more. Listing is for my time and effort. My goal is to provide knowledge. These are free. You would need to supply your own ammo, eye/ear protection, and range entry. Guidance available, limited equipment I can loan. Features: -Safety -General Operation -Identification, Labeling, and Terms -General Handling -Disassembly and Maintenance -Firing Basics -Range Time -Guidance on how to pick your first firearm -Texas laws concerning firearms use/carry I'm former military and my wife will also assist. The idea is to have a comfortable learning environment where you can start out with your self-defense and 2nd Amendment needs.
