From the Birmingham Public Library:
February 8, 2021
By Leslie Deason | Avondale Regional Library
Spread your wings this February and take part in National Bird Feeding Month. You can help our flying friends by placing bird feeders and watering stations in prominent places.
If you've enjoyed the melodious sounds of your backyard friends or appreciated their colorful wings, do what you can to help. Learn more about watching, feeding and appreciating Alabama backyard birds by checking out a book at your local library. The Avondale Public Library has created a DIY bird feeder kit so you can provide food for the birds during these difficult winter months. Just give us a call at 205-226-4000 if you would like to pick up a kit.
Your fine feathered friends will appreciate your efforts! I'm including a list of resources to learn more about bird feeding and bird watching.
