$26-30 per hour (DOE) Sick pay, Medical and Vacation benefits, after 90 days. PV installation contractor looking for qualified electrician to work on the installation of some of the world’s most cutting edge technology. The candidate will work cooperatively with a team to install EV chargers, Tesla Powerwall and PV solar systems. Job Description We are looking for electricians with integrity who can safely perform electrical installations within the PV & storage arena. All applicants are required to have a clean driving record (no points) in order to drive a company vehicle. All applicants are subject to a drug test and a background check. Responsibilities • Work cooperatively with a team and/or work independently to install charging systems, battery backup and PV solar systems • Work with peers to evaluate job requirements and cost • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical components and system issues • Lead efforts on safe work practices • Communicate job status to the team and customer • Perform other related duties, as assigned Qualifications • Minimum one year relevant electrical experience • Understanding of NEC codes • PV Solar installation experience is a plus but not required • Ability to work occasionally in challenging environments (sun, cold, wind, tight spaces, etc.) • Capable of standing for long stretches of time and working at heights (on rooftops & ladders) • Ability to safely handle and lift tools and materials common to the construction and solar industries including: ladders, inverters, solar modules, and similar equipment • Regular, reliable and predictable performance a must • Ability to bend pipe Electricians having any of the following experience are encouraged to apply: Pipe bending, PV systems, underground wiring, switchgear and related services, branch circuit wiring, panel boards & transformer wiring and/or control wiring.
