General Purpose and Scope of Position: Responsible for management of the Orchard, NE Dry Fertilizer Warehouse oversight, inventory, order processing, and safety including warehouse duties such as stocking and retrieving items, driving forklift, and general housekeeping. Key Skills and Abilities Include: Possession of a valid commercial Class A driver's license with a good driving record Forklift Driver and Driving Certification (offered on the job) High School Diploma or equivalent Proficient with computers utilizing Microsoft Windows, Windows applications Willingness to operate material handling equipment including forklift, order picker, and pallet jack Key Personal Attributes Include: Requires excellent interpersonal skills between both customers and fellow employees Ability to work and contribute to a team approach with a positive attitude and outlook Possess the leadership skills to effectively lead warehouse team Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments Excellent attention to detail Strong oral and written communication skills Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include: Provide support to drivers, and warehouse personnel Oversee the efficient operation of the yard, warehouse, and all vehicles Provide inventory management in the best overall economic interest of the company Oversee daily and monthly inventory counts Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring no product leaves, or enters the warehouse without the necessary paperwork Assisting loading and dispatching of custom applicators Take action expeditiously on all aged and damaged inventory Provide additional oversight to the maintenance of equipment Determine storage location of products Completes Hazardous Material shipping papers and train drivers, warehouse helpers, and customers about transportation rules and regulations Meet and complete all WECO regulatory safety and training requirements, including physical exams, self, and other branch employees Ensures that all parts are in stock, maintains proper inventory Organize and maintain safety training and records Ensure that the warehouse has proper safety signs Become well-rounded in all aspects of the branch to ensure profitability Compensation and Benefits: Competitive hourly wage (to be determined based on experience and other factors) Benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401k, Employee Assistance Program, vacation, sick time, life insurance, + more); Pension Plan, 401k match up to 3% Drug-Free Workplace If you are currently a Wilbur-Ellis employee, please notify your Manager before applying for this position.
