Upscale Plastic Surgery office looking for a receptionist as the newest member of our plastic surgery family. Our current receptionist is moving out of state. We want this to be a permanent position. It is full time with medical and dental benefits. We plan to fill this position immediately. We are looking for a friendly, professional, detail-oriented, punctual, reliable, and energetic person. You must be confident, non-confrontational, able to multi-task, and have exceptional customer service. You must be able to cross cover, and help out wherever needed. We are a no nonsense drama free office. You must have excellent computer skills as we are a totally paperless office with use of NexTech EMR. Professional image required. You will typically: • Greet patients • Prepare patients for their visit • Schedule appointments • Verify and update patient information • Verify insurance • Patient education, and answering questions • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. • Maintain patient confidence and protect patient health information per HIPAA guidelines. • Serve and protect the physician and other employees by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal/state/local requirements, and JCAHO standards. • Follow all OSHA and other safety guidelines • Have good spelling and medical terminology • Maintain cleanliness and be organized • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining up to date knowledge with any educational opportunities as felt necessary by the physician • Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to the practice * You will be responsible for helping patients with skin care products. * You will be responsible for knowing all of the information on our website. Requirements: Knowledge of plastic surgery terminology and procedures. You must pass a background check. No felonies. You must live within 20 min drive from office. There will be a 90 day probation period, and then you will qualify for paid vacation/holiday/sick leave and benefits. Hours are M, Tues, Thurs 8:00-3:00, Wednesday 9:00-5:00, and Friday 8:00-12.
