MPS Group, Inc. is hiring multiple Field Technicians (General Labor) based at the AK Steel Middletown Works in Ohio with assignments that may include day travel. Description: Field Technicians load and unload equipment, setup and breakdown equipment, line trailers, drive trucks on site, operate equipment as necessary. Daily work includes manual labor in an industrial setting which includes working in the elements (outside) as well as inside heavy industrial locations. Job Duties include: Use manual tools during industrial cleaning operations (shovels, scrapers, rakes, squeegees) Cleans building & equipment including sludge pits, eliminators, dip tanks, process tanks, conveyors May be assigned grounds keeping duties including clearing weeds, shoveling snow, litter removal Performs yard, shop, equipment maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned May be assigned and trained to water blast, chemical clean or other specialized services Adheres to quality and safety requirements Qualifications: Ability to understand basic equipment operating instructions, safe work practices, commercial and industrial process OSHA 10 Certification required; can be obtained through company sponsored training Ability to lift 50 lbs; stand, walk, stoop, and climb ladders Willing and able to work schedules that include Overtime, weekends and holidays Must possess a current driver license Apply online at www.mpsgrp.com/careers.html or email resume
