Customer Service Responds to requests for service and assistance professionally and polite Interpersonal Keeps emotions under control Written Communication Able to read and interpret written information Ethics- Upholds organizational values Attendance and Punctuality Is consistently at work and on time Dependability- Follows instructions, responds to management direction Quality Monitors own work to ensure quality Quantity Meets productivity goals Safety and Security Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and chemicals properly DUTIES: • Sweep, mops, scrub and vacuums hallways, stairs and all classrooms • Empty Outside wastebaskets • Empty trash and garbage containers • Replace air conditioner filters as needed • Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks • Conduct building walk-downs daily and report all burned out light bulbs from hallway and stairwell • Test and report non-functioning emergency lights • Maintain curb appeal of the properties at all times • Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests • Complete special projects as requested • Clean baseboards • Complete set up and break down for events • Dust sweep and wet mop hard surface flooring. • Completely clean all entrance door glass and lobby glass wall. • Empty and clean all waste receptacles. • Dust walls and remove fingerprints. Remove dirt, fingerprints, etc. from doors, door frames, walls, light switches, glass, push plates, handles, railings, moldings, trim, etc. • Dust desk equipment, window sills, desk tops, chairs, filing cabinets, tables, bookcases, shelves, lockers and any other furniture or fixtures within reach. • Vacuum and spot clean carpeting. • Clean and sanitize drinking fountains and water coolers • In restrooms, wash and polish mirrors, powder shelves, bright work, etc. Including flush meters piping and toilet seat hinges. Clean and sanitize all fixtures including toilet bowls, toilet seats, wash basins and urinals. Flush toilets, urinals and drains. Dust and wipe clean partitions, tile walls, dispensers, doors and receptacles. Fill toilet tissue, soap and towel dispensers correctly with supplies. Empty and clean towel receptacles and remove waste material. • Wipe clean all window sills. • Dust baseboards, chairs, rails, trip, louvers, moldings and other “low dust” areas once a week. • Check and initial locked door checklist • Check elevator call buttons light and work properly • Clean elevator track • Assure all alarms are set thru- out School • Do high dusting once a month. Clean lights, globes and fixtures. Dust pictures, frames and wall hangings not reached in nightly cleaning. Dust exterior of lights fixtures overhead pipes, sprinklers, etc. Dust partitions, ventilating louvers and vents, walls, trim, etc. (not reached in daily cleaning). Dust tops of cabinets, files, etc. (not reached in daily cleaning). Dust horizontal blinds and window frames. Machine strip, refinish and buff all resilient tile flooring. • All other duties assigned COVID-19 DUTIES: • WEAR FACE MASK • PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING • WIPE ALL DOOR HANDLES • WIPE ALL DESK • WIPE ALL LOCKER HANDLES • WIPE ALL TOUCH POINTS • WHEN ENTERING INTO TENANT SPACES WEAR FACE COVERINGS IF YOU ARE SICK NOTIFY MANAGEMENT AND GO HOME REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple, repetitive one – or –two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described below are representatives of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essentials functions of the job. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, Peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.
